Sandgate Society Talk - ‘Sir John Moore and the Sandgate Connection’
Speaker is Michael George - author of ‘Coast of Conflict’ and ‘Dover and Folkestone During the Great War’, well known local historian and lecturer assisted by Chris Shaw and Tony Wilkes of 95th Rifles.
To be held at The Chichester Memorial Hall, Sandgate High Street (opposite the Ship Inn pub)
Start time is 7.30pm
There will also be a display of rare books depicting the Sir John Moore Story at Sandgate Library throughout this week.
