Q. What happened to the stage?
A. The stage was removed and destroyed to provide a storage area at the back of the hall for equipment, chairs and tables.
Q. Where are the round pictures that used to hang on the hall walls?
A. These pictures, painted by local school children, were removed as they were being affected by the damp conditions. They are in storage and will be replaced when the leaking roof has been mended.
Q. How can I become a Trustee?
A. You can become a Trustee by getting elected at the AGM - you would then serve as a Trustee for one year and could be elected at the next AGM if you wanted to stand again.
Q. How many Trustees are there?
A. The Constitution states that there should be five Trustees and five Community Representatives who form the CMH management committee.
Q. I would like to run a community event in the Chichester Hall - who should I speak to?

Q. I do not want to be a Trustee but I do want to help as a volunteer - is there anything I can do?
A. Yes all volunteer help is very welcome - we have a schedule of non specialist tasks and you could help with any of these. Please contact the Chairman to discuss - contact details are on the Contact Us page.
Q. The Chichester Hall is too big for our requirements - is there another room in Sandgate I could hire which is smaller?
A. Yes - why not consider using The Old Fire Station - more information can be found on www.sandgate-kent.org.uk/oldfirestation/index.html

Going West along Sandgate High Street A259 (towards Hythe) - the Chichester Memorial Hall is situated on the the Right - just past the car show room and just across the road from the Ship Inn.
