Welcome to The Chichester Memorial Hall website  - the hall is situated in the heart of Sandgate in the High Street.

 

The Chichester Memorial Hall is managed by Trustees on behalf of the people of Sandgate - and it’s main use is by community groups for activities as diverse as Tai Chi and Short Mat Bowls, Community Singing and Art Classes.

Urgent work has now been completed on the roof to make it water tight. Internal rotted timbers have been replaced and repairs to damaged plaster work completed.

Thanks to funds donated by Sandgate PC and KCC work was able to start today on the roof to make it watertight.

FUNDRAISING & DIY

If you have a good idea  to raise funds for the Chichester Hall and Jubilee Clock plus the time and enthusiasm to commit  to putting your good idea into action please do get in touch with the Trustees who would love to discuss how we can support this idea. Volunteers are always welcome.

 

HALL HIRES

Almost all revenue raised for running costs, maintenance and repairs is raised by hiring out the Hall. If you would like to hire the Chichester Hall for your community or private event please do contact either the Caretaker Michael Chalkie or Chairman Jan Holben - contact numbers are on Contact Us page.
